Established in 1970, Grampian Software provides industry leading software for Human Capital Management to the public transport industry and specialist stock control systems to the Whisky Industry. Our focus on these two diverse industries has evolved from our experience of supplying software to these sectors for more than thirty years.

Grampian has been a major supplier of software to the bus industry since 1984. Initially supplying a wide range of applications, the business is now focused on duty allocation, payroll, HR, and financial software. We are now the leading supplier of employee management solutions to the UK public transport industry providing a range of solutions designed to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Grampian is the preferred supplier of duty allocation applications to a number of the major bus operators in the UK including First, Arriva, Stagecoach and Go Ahead groups and a number of independent operators such as Lothian, Ipswich and Cardiff Buses.

We have a wealth of experience in the transportation industry and our consultants have either worked in the industry or with the applications for a number of years.

Grampian Software has been involved in the implementation and support of software for the whisky industry since the mid 1970’s. Several of the founders of Grampian had previous working experience in the industry and this has been used in the design of DRAMS (Distillery Records and Management System) from its earliest days.

The system is used to control bulk stocks of spirit from the initial filling or receipt until it is dispatched either as a straight sale or into a blending or bottling operation. DRAMS covers all types of spirit and provides control over a multi-location, multi-warehouse environment where stocks may belong to the holding company or customers. The software has been designed in consultation with HMC&E and meets the standards required for official approval.

Customers who have installed DRAMS include Wm Grant & Sons, Whyte & Mackay, Speyside Distillers, and many others.
