OpenAccounts eBIS Exchange is designed to enable the collection, handling, processing, auditing and delivery of data and documents.

eBIS Exchange provides routing, profiling and XML handling mechanisms in a framework that can easily be applied, configured and extended to any user-defined process or transaction.

eBIS Exchange is a Run Time Server and Workflow Engine that runs pre-built applications (eg eFinance) and allows configuration of users and workflow rules/routings. It allows end users to set up their own forms, lookups, validations and documents with tools to help integrate the workflow with other back-office systems.

• Profiles are used to control permissions and access to eBIS features
• Groups are functional groups of users. They are used to determine the workflow of items.

eFinance

A pre-built, ready to run eBIS application fully integrated with OpenAccounts Financials accounting software. OpenAccounts eFinance features:

• Electronic updates to/from customers and suppliers
• Customer/supplier self-service queries
• Remote data entry and approval
• Automated information delivery
• Financial process workflow
• BASDA eBIS-XML standards

eFinance reports can be run from the browser and include drill back to transactions and source documents. A search facility on standard enquiries enables user defined queries and formatting, including extraction to MS-Excel.
